Making heads turn at SHRM Tech 2019 EMEA
Employee experience is the new mantra for organizations worldwide. Business leaders have realized the importance of engaging, appreciating, and retaining their employees in order to create greater business value. With deep focus on the historically neglected and ever-growing non-desk workforce, the highly secure Groupe.io mobile communication app is one of the greatest go-to employee communication platforms in the enterprise space that leverage the latest technology to drive engagement and productivity in organizations.
A confluence of communication
Recently, Groupe.io showcased its unique capabilities to the who’s-who of business figures — CEOs, VPs, and directors; HR leaders; retail, hospitality, and government officials; key global influencers — at the SHRM Tech EMEA conference held at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC, Dubai. This was SHRM’s first-ever conference in Dubai and the theme for this year was “Rebooting HR in a tech-driven world”.
Spread over two days, the event created a platform for more than 500 HR and technology professionals to “realize business value through HR tech”. The event saw more than 30 demo and knowledge sessions and talks by more than 40 global speakers on a host of topics like RPA, Digital Transformation, Employee Engagement, Data Analytics, Data Protection, and more — all in the HR space. Some of the prominent speakers in the panel were Dr. Anna Tavis, Associate Professor of Human Capital Management, NYU; Mark Levy, Head of Employee Experience, Allbirds and Former CHRO, AirBnB; and Jason Averbook, Co-Founder and CEO, Leapgen.
A rich takeaway
The event was a great opportunity for Groupe.io to showcase its thought leadership in the employee engagement area, position the brand firmly, connect with the entire market under one roof, and get real-time industry feedback on its product and capabilities.
Groupe.io’s participation in the event was highly successful as it was able to attract footfalls from prominent HR and communication leaders to its booth and generate a lot of interest overall. Conversations ranged from the lack of structured communication in enterprises and a lack of single platform for employees to access their work tools to the need for increased engagement and crowdsourcing ideas from the workforce. The visitors were also shown demos and informed how Groupe.io fills these gaps for businesses.
The leaders’ feedback was very positive and encouraging. While they applauded Groupe.io’s efforts to bring forth an innovative employee engagement solution, they also provided some interesting perspectives and ideas to further solidify the platform.
