WaveMaker’s Remote Team Collaborated Using Groupe.io to Roll Out Version 10.4

WaveMaker, a Rapid Application Development (RAD) platform, is designed to make new app building faster and easier. The product is owned by WaveMaker, Inc., headquartered in Mountain View, California.

The platform is undergoing constant upgrades, and a major update was scheduled to be rolled out in the first week of April, 2020.

Challenge

Unfortunately, COVID struck hard and the team shifted to working remotely from 18th March. Despite this disruption, the team managed to work together on the WaveMaker upgrade and version 10.4 of the product was released on 20 April, 2020!

The Groupe.io employee app was used to collaborate within the team during execution of this project. Groupe played a vital role in ensuring smooth communication within a remote team.

Collaborating within a big team of distributed workers is a difficult task to say the least. The entire team resides in a common time zone. This doesn’t make project coordination within a remote team any easier.
